TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
10-13-2021
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Community Center. Meeting called to order by Dan at 6:38pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel, Supervisor 1, Mike Yahn, Supervisor, and Susan Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 9-15-2021 were reviewed, Motion to approve previous minutes made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

CLERKS REPORT
Check numbers 17394 thru 17414 with 3 EFT for a total of $25,622.17.
Motion by George to accept the clerks reports as presented, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
OPERATOR/LIQUOR LICENSES
Operator’s applications received for Angie Goff and Trevor Riedel for Millston Kwik Stop. Motion by George to accept applications as presented, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
REDISTRICTING RESOLUTION
Jackson County’s Tentative Supervisor District Plan for 2021 is in the works. Our municipality must pass a resolution adopting the new ward plan to now include 2 wards and 2 Supervisor Districts in the Town of Millston . Motion to approve Resolution 2021-1 made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried. (resolution and map attached)
SNOW PLOWING FOR 2021-2022
Snow plowing will remain the same for this season $90.00/Season for Private Residents, $80.00/HR for all Businesses. Checks to be made out to the Town of Millston and be sent to Sue Marcou, Treasurer, PO Box 496, Millston, WI 54643. All checks received after November 15th, 2021 WILL INCUR a LATE FEE of $25.00.
BUDGET REVIEW
2021 Expenses year to date reviewed. 2022 Budget meeting will be November 17, 2022 at 6:30pm.
AUDIT REVIEW
Integrity Audit and Tax performed a review of the Town of Millston for year ending 12-31-2020. Their findings were: We are not aware of any material modifications that should be made to the accompanying financial statements for them to be in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. The total cost for this review was $4500.00.
TREASURERS REPORT
Sue reported checking account balance as of 8-30-21 is $300,509.88.
Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by Mike, seconded by George. Motion carried.
DAVES REPORT BY MIKE
Mike went over Dave's shop and equipment report.
Jim Rhodes submitted a bid for the Old Town Hall Windows/Door along with replacing the rotten wood, repair old siding south side and install d-4 cedar creek white vinyl siding along with aluminum soffit and fascia for $13,300. The Town will see if we can obtain ATC monies to complete this project. Jim also gave a quote for new light fixtures in the Community Center for all lights in the upstairs hallway, brd room and museum for $49.97 each which includes labor for approximately 20 fixtures. The board agrees that since the ceiling work is also being completed that installing new light fixtures would be in the best interest of the Community Center. Mike will contact Jim.
Mail/Vouchers reviewed and signed. Motion to Adjourn made by George, seconded by Mike.
