TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
12-14-2022
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Community Center. Meeting called
to order by Dan at 6:30pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel,
Supervisor 1, Mike Yahn, Supervisor, and Sue Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 11-16-2022 were reviewed, Motion to approve made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
 Sue questioned how we were going to handle the Luke Welker family in regards to the Vandalism at the CC. At
this time, we will let our insurance carrier settle up with the family. Brief discussion on whether the Town would
request reimbursement for the $1000.00 deductable with filing the vandalism claim.
 Sue brought up the Town Website and feels that not enough information is being shared and updates are not
timely. Sue has an individual that would be interested in taking over the website. The board is not comfortable
with changing to another individual and is requesting Sue to create a list of expectations that she feels is
important. The board will review the expectations and go from there. Dan will be speaking with MaryAnn. The
current payment for managing the Town Website is only $150.00/yr - which calculates to $12.50/month. Maybe
consider an increase in payment due to how much time is spent on website monthly.
